Meet the Coaches

Valery Mitchell, Founder
I created this studio with a deep personal belief: that movement is a powerful path to clearing the mind and building strength—a philosophy I've practiced since my college strength training days.
My group fitness journey started four years ago. Group fitness has taught me the importance of community and the value of belonging. I’ve spent the last two years as a coach learning how to build strong, supportive communities that I now bring to our Mat Pilates format.
I'm passionate about infusing every session with my vibrant personality and cultural roots. Expect high energy and great music (I love Bad Bunny and Karol G!) as I guide you through a workout designed to help you find both physical strength and mental peace.

After falling in love with group fitness, I started teaching two years ago with one goal in mind — to empower others to fall in love with their fitness journey too. My classes are all about challenging yourself mentally and physically, letting go of daily stress, and having fun while doing it. Expect great energy, a supportive vibe, and plenty of Drake on the playlist.

I believe fitness is about more than just building physical strength—it’s about cultivating mental resilience and confidence that carry beyond the studio. With a background in theater and over three years of group fitness experience, I bring energy, focus, and a sense of community to every class I lead.
My goal is to help each client push past their limits in a supportive, empowering environment where effort is celebrated and progress is personal. Every class is designed to challenge both body and mind—because true strength comes from showing up for yourself, inside and out.
As for music, you can expect high-energy playlists that blend a variety of genres to keep you moving and motivated—with the occasional Taylor Swift track making a well-deserved appearance.

I came to Pilates as a longtime gym-goer looking for a challenge and found transformation. After years of using movement to bounce back from injury and build self-love, Pilates taught me to move with intention and step into my strength.
I’m a lifelong believer in the fruitfulness of movement and i’m here to help you feel that too. My classes are high-energy, encouraging and inclusive, with modifications to meet you where you are and the kind of music that will keep you coming back for more (DJ, play reggaetón, salsa, and a little EDM, of course!)
Expect a space that challenges you, supports you, and reminds you that growth lives just beyond your comfort zone.

I've always loved being active—from lifting weights to skiing—and finding new ways to challenge myself. But it wasn't until I discovered group fitness that I truly fell in love with movement. There's nothing better than a space where people cheer for you, sweat with you, and celebrate every win.
In my class, I'll guide you through a fun, challenging flow packed with good energy and a playlist full of early 2000s hits you didn't know you missed!

My love for movement began at age two through dance and has evolved into a lifelong passion for helping others move with confidence and purpose. After earning my BFA in Dance and Business Management in 2020, I discovered how seamlessly Pilates aligns with the strength, control, and body awareness I developed through dance.
With over 1.5 years of experience as a group fitness instructor, I primarily focus on alignment, form, and making movement accessible to all levels. My goal is to help clients feel strong, supported, and connected to their bodies—without pain or pressure for perfection.
You can always expect great energy and a curated playlist in my classes. Some of my favorite artists include Tate McRae, Taylor Swift, Maggie Rogers, Charli XCX, Griff, and Florence + The Machine.

I’ve lived all over the world, from Abu Dhabi to New York, but I remain a Connecticut native at heart. Wellness has always been a guiding principle in my life. I was an NCAA Division II lacrosse player at Southern Connecticut State University, where I earned her B.A. in Psychology. After graduation, I moved to New York to pursue a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology at NYU-Abu Dhabi.
During my time in New York, I discovered Pilates, which quickly became a grounding practice. When I later moved to Abu Dhabi, Pilates remained a constant source of balance. Drawing on my background in psychology and athletics, I’ve found deep healing through mindful movement. You can expect a workout that will leave your booty sore and heart full! My favorite music genre includes a variety from Tate McRae, Jorja Smith, to ODESZA and more!

I’m a strength and endurance coach who believes movement is medicine. It’s a powerful way to heal, release, and reconnect with yourself. As a post-college athlete, I was shaped by coaches who saw more in me than I saw in myself, and they changed the trajectory of my life. That impact is why I started coaching 5 years ago: to help people find themselves again through movement. My style is feel-good, music driven, and rooted in intention. I build sessions that challenge your muscles and your mindset, helping you step into a stronger, more grounded version of yourself. I believe movement should feel like a release. It’s a place where you let go of what you’re carrying and step into WHO you’re becoming, and with music that matches the moment, I bring an energy that lets you feel every rep on a deeper level. My mission is simple: help you move better, feel stronger, and leave class more connected to your mind, your body, and your purpose. I can’t wait to move with you.
